Trial begins in killing of six family members
The Columbian - More than seven years after six family members were gunned down on Christmas Eve in a small farming town east of Seattle, the trial began Tuesday for one of two people charged in their killings. State high court delays trial in Carnation killings

7 years later, Carnation killings trial to begin
KXLY-TV Spokane - Seven years after six family members were killed in Carnation on Christmas Eve, a King County judge is nearly ready to begin hearing the case against one of the two people charged with six counts of aggravated first-degree murder. The Seattle Times reports a jury has been chosen in the case against Joseph McEnroe, which is scheduled to begin with opening statements on Jan. 12.
