Alzheimer's Association caregiver support groups provide a place for caregivers to learn and gain support from others caring for a person with memory loss. Support groups also serve as an opportunity for participants to receive information on care management, available services, and current research and treatment options. A free support group for unpaid care partners, family members and friends of individuals with memory loss is held the 4th Tuesday of each month from 2:00-3:30pm at Group Health Rainier Medical Center, Conference Room, 5316 Rainier Ave. S., Seattle, WA 98118. Not only does El Centro provide excellent service to the community, they also have 33 different social programs created to assist those who are in need at all stages of their lives. The Spanish classes that we host here at El Centro supports our mission to serve the community in the best way possible and particularly those who are from the Chicano/Latino community. What sets us apart from other Spanish classes in Seattle is our ability to teach cultural awareness in all forms via, dance, poetry and food, as well as learning the fundamental concepts for conversational Spanish. Through our Spanish program you will be able to make a positive and effective impact within the Beacon Hill and greater Seattle area community , all the while you learn one of the fastest growing languages in America!!!
