I am a local author in need of a local writing group! Come join me, whatever your writing endeavors may be, if you're looking for the same!
The very first meeting of the Maple Valley Writers will take place on Saturday, May 25th from 2pm-3pm in the Maple Valley Library meeting room. At this meeting we will establish how often to meet, what we hope to accomplish, and introduce ourselves!
The Maple Valley Writers will meet at least once a month, if not several times a week to write/discuss/learn/promote/produce creative works. We will be locally based, only meeting in Maple Valley and only supporting local businesses.
All creative-minded individuals are welcome.

Mad Hatter’s Sweet Tea

Join us for a fun-filled sweets only tea at the picturesque Mary Olson Farm. We will be serving all types of sugary treats as well as iced tea and lemonade. There will be a fancy hat contest, croquet and even a visit from the Mad Hatter and his friends!

WINGS OF KAREN 5K BRA DASH - September 15, 2013
A 5K event like no other with 100 percent of proceeds supporting breast cancer research in the Pacific Northwest. Participants are encouraged to wear a bra over their race day shirt and toss it triumphantly at the finish line, symbolizing the spirit needed to find a cure. A fun, family event where all are welcome.
Join us and let's finish breast cancer together!
