Girls Basketball: Rams take SPSL North title

North Highline crime and public safety report for January
The Highline Times - White Center Storefront Deputy BJ Myers presented his monthly public safety recap to the North Highline Unincorporated Area Council on Feb. 3. Here are the details: Robberies Speaking on different robberies in the area, Myers said the suspects in a Jan. 11 liquor store robbery were identified and arrested thanks to surveillance camera footage. 31-year-old Tukwila man found dead in his backyard
The Highline Times - From the Tukwila Police Department: At 8:26 P.M. on Feb. 2, a 31-year-old man was found dead by his family. Family members said the man often walks in the evening. When he was overdue to return, they began looking for him. He was found close to his home suffering from injuries. Family members started CPR and called 911. Medics responded and also treated the man but were unable to revive him. He may have been there for an hour or more. 19-year-old woman shot and killed in Tukwila
The Highline Times - From the Tukwila Police Department: At about 9:15 P.M. on Feb. 2, Seattle Police contacted a shooting victim being driven to Harborview by a friend. The 19 year-old woman was in very serious condition and taken to Harborview for treatment where she later died from her injuries. Her friend, who was driving at the time of the attack, said they were in an SUV on Tukwila International Blvd. The victim was the only passenger in the vehicle. Scary moment as 11-year-old Burien boy disappeared for seven hours
The Highline Times - The call for help from the King County Sheriff's Office went out around 7 p.m. on Feb. 2: an 11-year-old Burien boy had wandered off campus from Hazel Valley Elementary School around 1 p.m. after getting in trouble on the playground. An hour and a half later good news came from KCSO: The boy had walked home and was safe.
