Ex-Sonic Swift pleads not guilty to weapons charge
KOMO News - Troubled former Seattle Supersonic Robert Swift pleaded not guilty Monday to an earlier weapons charge after being arrested last week during an investigation into a recent burglary attempt in Gold Bar. CA: Cause of Rail Workers' Death Released
Mass Transit - Jan. 10--The Kern County Coroners office has released the cause of death for a railroad track repairman who died in Bakersfield Police Department custody in August after attacking his co-workers. Carson Peter-Contesse, 19, of Sultan, Washington died of cardiopulmonary arrest while under the influence of cocaine and methamphetamine at 12:51 p.m. on Aug. 6 according to coroner's office reports.
