Motorcyclist injured in Seattle after slamming into wall
KOMO News - A motorcyclist is in the hospital Saturday morning after slamming into a wall in the International District overnight. A security guard who saw the crash happen told KOMO News that a man on a motorcycle dropped someone off, then took off at a high rate of speed. Read more...

Madison Park Times - Leschi Bob Santos will be the featured speaker at the Leschi Community Council meeting on Wednesday, May 6. A longtime Seattle activist, Santos has written the book "The Gang of Four," which chronicles the activities of four Seattle men - Central Area Motivation Program executive director Larry Gossett, El Centro de la Raza executive director Roberto Maestas, United Indians of all Tribes executive director Bernie Whitebear and Santos, executive director of the International District Improvement Association - who each directed nonprofit organizations serving ethnic groups within the community from the late '60s through the '90s. Seattle International District's Panama Hotel deemed - national treasure'
Business Journal - The Panama Hotel in Seattle's Chinatown/International District is an intriguing place where you can still see the trunks and suitcases that Japanese-Americans were forced to leave behind when they were ordered into internment camps during World War II.
