Instructor: Harvey LeSure is a licensed clinical social worker that helps his clients utilizing psychotherapy, dreamwork and yoga. He specializes in aging issues and sees clients individually out of the Rooted Tree Counseling Center in Bothell.

Explore the 21 Acres organic farm in these theme-based, 2-day sessions. These classes introduce children and parents to insects, flowers and the garden world. Learn what to plant and how to work together to grow your own garden. Watch the farm goats and pick fresh berries. Each session includes gardening, an art project, stories, our famous sun tea, and yummy snacks! Several sessions available in July.

Junior Counselors assist Children’s Farm staff to lead fun small group activities and nature walks, while also learning more about organic gardening, beekeeping, food entrepreneurship, and preparing food at home. Lavender Farm Tour
Woodinville Lavender
Master Gardener Tom Frei has been working with his wife and children to develop Woodinville Lavender since 2008. They are currently growing over 3000 plants and 25 varieties at a farm overlooking the Sammamish Valley.

Tom will discuss the history, botany, selection, care, and uses of lavender and lead us on a tour of the sustainable and organic gardens. Lavender refreshments will be provided!
Tom Frei was born in the Pullman area, and has been an engineer for the last 26 years. He loves all types of outdoor gardening, and in 2008, he starting working on Woodinville Lavender.

Kirkland Uncorked is a regional showcase of art, food and wine of the picturesque shores of Lake Washington in Kirkland, WA taking place July 19-21, 2013 at Marina Park (25 Lakeshore Plaza, Kirkland, WA 98033). Benefiting the Hope Heart Institute, Kirkland Uncorked features wine tasting, grilling demonstrations, a new burger brawl, and live music in the Tasting Garden (21+) and an all-ages Promenade with the Uncorked Market, a boat show and dog modeling contest.
