Anti-police shooting-spree suspect is held without bail
The Columbian - A man accused of shooting at police stations, patrol cars and officers in three Washington cities has been ordered held without bail after a brief court appearance Monday. Lake Stevens gunman’s alleged plan: ‘suicide by police’
Seattle Times - The man accused of going on a shooting rampage last week by targeting police in three Snohomish County communities wanted to be killed by officers but was disappointed in their marksmanship when he survived, prosecutors say. Suspect in Snohomish County shooting spree angry police didn't kill him
Seattle Times - The man accused of going on a shooting rampage last week by driving around and firing on police in Granite Falls, Lake Stevens and Marysville told detectives he'd wanted to be killed and was disappointed in the officers' marksmanship, according to a court document filed in Snohomish County Superior Court. The 43-year-old Lake Stevens man told investigators he was about to lose his cabinetry business, facing eviction from his home and was to have his leg amputated due to vascular problems when he received a text message from his wife concerning fears that their son would harm himself, according to the court document.
