FREE! Donations made at the Fairs information booths and beer gardens benefit a number of area non-profits including the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and Solid Ground, a local poverty-focused non-profit who originated and produced the Fair for nearly 40 years.

Now, that car is part of MOHAI's collection, and this summer, will be put on display in the museum's Faye G. Allen Grand Atrium. Celebrate the Dodge Challenger's debut and kick off summer at this special program for all ages. Several times throughout the day, Al Young will talk about his 25 years racing the Challenger and share stories from the track, and MOHAI's Family Lab will feature race-car themed activities.

jul 13Rat City RollergirlsKey ArenaThe Rat City Rollergirls (RCRG) is Seattles premiere all-female, flat-track roller derby league. RCRG is still composed of about 80 active skaters and many more retired skaters who are still involved. The skaters are divided among four home teams: Derby Liberation Front, Grave Danger, Sockit Wenches, and Throttle Rockets. In addition, a small number of skilled, dedicated skaters are chosen to represent the league on its fifth team, the Rat City Rollergirls All Stars.

jul 27Ultimate Fighting ChampionshipKeyArenaThe Ultimate Fighting Championship announced today that it will return to KeyArena in Seattle on Saturday, July 27 with a nationally-televised fight card set to air live on FOX. This will be the organization's third consecutive annual event at KeyArena. After hosting a sold-out event in March 2011, UFC returned to the city last December and once again drew a sellout crowd and an estimated $1.5 million gate.
UFC officials expect to announce fights for the card in the weeks to come, as well as ticket information. Two Seattle-area fighters currently hold UFC championships, as Parkland's Demetrious Johnson is the organization's flyweight (125 pounds) champion, while Federal Way's Benson Henderson holds the lightweight (155 pounds) title.
jul 28One DirectionKey ArenaOne Direction have done it again; their December 3 show at Madison Square Garden sold out in under 10 minutes. With their entire May/June 2012 tour also selling out in minutes, One Direction are giving their fans a chance to see the group live once again in the summer of 2013 as part of their World Tour the earliest they are able to return with a tour to the States.
The Live Nation promoted 25 city tour kicks off in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on June 13, 2013 and will hit Seattles KeyArena on July 28, 2013. The tour will include stops in New York, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles with more dates to be released.
