Monroe public works director completes FEMA academy

Monroe Mayor Geoffrey Thomas recognized Public Works Director Brad Feilberg for successfully graduating from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Emergency Management Advanced Academy during the Monroe City Council meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 25. According to a FEMA news release, the curriculum included advanced emergency management concepts, advanced concepts in an emergency management organization, emergency management professional style and advanced concepts and issues in the emergency management community.
