The concepts taught within the Akrish Academy of Self-Defense can be understood and applied even after a few lessons. Yet...it is important for to emphasize that we believe for any person to develop effective self-defense skills time, dedication and a proper curriculum must be adhered to. A false sense of confidence must not be created through ranking or improper training.

This workshop will help you in selecting the plants that will grow well in your type of shade. It will explain the different types of shade and how best to handle them. There are many plants that do very well in shade and some with variegated leaves that will lighten up the area. There are even plants that will do well competing with tree roots. You can create interest in the shade garden by using a variety of leaf textures.
