High Drive renovation begins this month
KHQ-TV Spokane - The project to renovate High Drive on Spokane's South Hill will get underway on May 26. It will include repaving the road and adding sidewalks and storm drains. The road will be torn up during construction and be closed to traffic until fall. Read more...

Man who murdered JBLM soldier sentenced to 31 years
KOMO News - The Puyallup man who murdered a Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldier who was trying to break up a domestic violence fight was sentenced Friday to 31 years in prison. Cellphone records link missing man, murder-for-hire suspects
KHQ-TV Spokane - A 22-page report by a law enforcement cellphone analyst says records show Timothy Suckow, the alleged triggerman who killed Spokane business man Doug Carlile in his South Hill home in 2013, was in North Dakota in February 2012, the day before Kristopher "K.C." Clarke disappeared. According to the Spokesman Review , federal prosecutors published the report in response to allegations from Henrikson's defense attorneys that they weren't providing complete investigative records.
