Marine News - Ice Floe, LLC dba Nichols Brothers Boat Builders has been contracted by Vigor Industrial to construct the superstructure portion of the third Olympic Class 144-Car Washington State Ferry the M/V Chimacum. Peninsula Daily News - The Chimacum High School Marching Band and Color Guard will thank the community tonight for its support in sending them to the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii on Dec. 7. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in the Chimacum High School auditorium, 90 West Valley Road. Assembled by Sage Brennan, 18, as her senior project, the presentation incorporates slides and music to trace the band's steps from the beginning of the project through the fundraising process and to the event itself.
