KNDU - PASCO, WA- Gas prices dropped across the nation and in the Northwest. The National Average for a gallon of gas is now cheaper than gallon of milk. Here in Washington, gas fell $0.10 per gallon in the past week. According to gasbuddy.com the state average is $3.40, but a station in Pasco was nearly $0.30 lower, and people came from all over to buy from them. Hanford Contractors Refuse to Send Thousands of Documents on Whistleblower
KNDU - RICHLAND, WA- The Department of Energy's Office of Inspector General wants documents to see if a whistleblower was unfairly fired by Hanford contractors, but those contractors refused to release several thousand documents in the case. The whistleblower, Donna BBusche believed she was fired in February after raising concerns for technical and safety issues in the Waste Treatment Plant at the Hanford Site.
