Dogs fall to Pirates
Highline Times - Domination of the singles matches propelled the Highline High School boys tennis team to a 5-2 Seamount League win against Foster on Thurs., Oct. 16. The Pirates improved to 5-5 league and 5-6 overall while the Bulldogs dropped to 2-7 league as well as the same overall. The league tournament begins on Oct. 23 after school classes end for the day and will follow the same schedule on Friday at the Valley Ridge Park courts in SeaTac. Read more...

JFK scores 6-0 win over Pirates
Highline Times - Kennedy Catholic and Highline went at it on the pitch, with a lot of good soccer played back and forth, despite the final score showing the Lancers beating the Pirates, 6-0, at Valley Ridge in SeaTac. Totems share the wealth in win over Wolverines

Cops credit homeless man for helping nab fugitives after chase
KOMO News - A high-speed chase through south King County ended Tuesday evening with three people bailing out of their stolen car and making a run for it, and deputies are crediting a homeless man for making sure they didn't get away.
