Alzheimer's Association caregiver support groups provide a place for caregivers to learn and gain support from others caring for a person with memory loss. Support groups also serve as an opportunity for participants to receive information on care management, available services, and current research and treatment options. A free support group for unpaid care partners, family members and friends of individuals with memory loss is held the 4th Tuesday of each month from 2:00-3:30pm at Group Health Rainier Medical Center, Conference Room, 5316 Rainier Ave. S., Seattle, WA 98118. The Spanish classes that we host here at El Centro supports our mission to serve the community in the best way possible and particularly those who are from the Chicano/Latino community. Hydro Fever includes a live auction of hydroplane memorabilia at 12 noon, with proceeds benefiting the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum.
Casper model hydro races for the kids takes place all day. And a hot lunch will be available.
