Driver may face vehicular assault charges after crash injures 3 west off Sequim
Peninsula Daily News - Three persons were injured when two cars collided Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 101 about seven miles west of Sequim. The State Patrol said a 1996 Kia Sport driven by David A. Cole, 58, of Port Angeles, was westbound on Highway 101 approaching Fern Road at about 3 p.m. when it crossed the center line, striking an eastbound 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Jodie L. ELECTION 2014: Jefferson prosecuting attorney's challenger...
Peninsula Daily News - Democratic challenger Michael Haas has raised almost twice as much as Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney Scott Rosekrans in his effort to unseat the Democratic incumbent, according to state Public Disclosure Commission filings as of Tuesday. Haas, 53, of Port Townsend has raised $11,470 from 41 campaign contributions, including $1,250 from Port Angeles lawyers John Black, Rich McMenamin and Shari McMenamin and Silverdale attorney Steve Bennett, as well as $1,900 from Sequim client Steven Fager and $100 Port Townsend lawyer Richard Davies. Sequim Food Bank seeking donations as costs spike
Peninsula Daily News - The Sequim Food Bank has launched a new fundraising drive with a goal of ensuring that every local family can enjoy a traditional meal during the upcoming holiday season.
