Preview performance of short plays set tonight in Sequim's Olympic Theatre Arts
Peninsula Daily News - A pair of short plays by Sir Tom Stoppard - co-writer of the movie "Shakespeare in Love" - takes the stage for a preview performance tonight at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave. Admission to the 7:30 p.m. show is $10, while OTA members get in free. "The Real Inspector Hound" and "The 15-Minute Hamlet" are both comedies, thanks to Stoppard's trademark wordplay and a cast that first appears in the former, a classic whodunit, and then reappears in the latter, a high-speed rendition of the Shakespearean tragedy. Peninsula Daily News - Bank of America is selling its four North Olympic Peninsula branch locations to Snohomish County-based 1st Security Bank, officials confirmed Wednesday. Checking, savings and loan customers at the Bank of America branches in Port Angeles, Sequim, Port Townsend and Port Hadlock will become 1st Security customers after the sale's expected close in January 2016. Mountlake Terrace bank acquires four Peninsula branches
Seattle Times - The parent company of Mountlake Terrace-based 1st Security Bank of Washington has agreed to purchase four Olympic Peninsula branches from Bank of America. The branches, in Port Angeles, Sequim, Port Townsend and Hadlock, come with approximately $268 million in deposits and less than $1 million in loans, a statement from FS Bancorp said. Read more...

Peninsula tribe acquires Mobilisa to bring Internet access to rural areas
Seattle Times - Intellicheck Mobilisa, a mobile software company in Port Townsend, has sold part of its business to the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, based in Sequim on the Olympic Peninsula. The tribe acquired the Mobilisa section of the business, which focuses on designing and maintaining wireless signals over water, as well as on land. Read more...

Sequim tries sending reclaimed water to farms during drought
Bellingham Herald - A Sequim pilot program to pump reclaimed water into Bell Creek will also provide irrigation to a local farm during drier times. 1st Security Bank to Acquire Four Banking Locations on Olympic Peninsula
Benzinga - FS Bancorp, Inc. , the holding company for 1st Security Bank of Washington, announced Tuesday, that 1st Security Bank has entered into an agreement with Bank of America to purchase four banking locations with approximately $268 million in deposits and less than $1 million in loans.
