New warrant gets all animals removed from 'farm of neglect'
KOMO News - Clallam County authorities moved in Monday evening to remove all the remaining animals from a small farm near Sequim as law enforcement builds a case of neglect against owner John Dashti. Brian King, Clallam County Chief Criminal Deputy, said a pattern of death was used as a legal basis for a new warrant executed Monday evening after yet another farm animal, a pig, was found dead Monday morning. Another animal found dead on Sequim 'farm of neglect'
KOMO News - Clallam County authorities were back on the scene of a "farm of neglect" near Sequim Monday morning investigating another dead animal found on John Dashti's property, according to a neighbor. One of the pigs that veterinarians and Clallam County deputies opted not to seize from Dashti last week was found dead by neighbor Maria Beliar, who then called authorities. Read more...

Sand sculpture heralds Sequim Lavender Weekend next month

Sequim man arrested for investigation of burglary
Peninsula Daily News - An anonymous tip led to the arrest Friday morning of Marlon John Lamprecht, a longtime Sequim resident who allegedly stole six firearms and more than $20,000 in cash from the home of a Port Angeles-area acquaintance June 15. More animals seized from property near Sequim; goats follow earlier removal of donkeys, sheep
