Deputies lose track of missing child rapist in woods
WICU12 Erie - The Clallam County Sheriff's Office said deputies were searching for missing sex offender Kenneth "Tiny" Johnson in the woods west of Youngquist Road near Sequim. But according to the Peninsula Daily News, Undersheriff Ron Peregrin said deputies lost track of him and were standing down, adding that Johnson is not thought to be a danger to the public. Ex-volunteer coach in Sequim gets 60 days after guilty plea
Peninsula Daily News - A former Sequim High School volunteer girls basketball coach was sentenced to 60 days - 30 in jail and 30 on home monitoring - after pleading guilty Thursday to communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. Basketball coach sentenced to 30 days jail time for inappropriate activity with minor girl
KONP 1450 Local News - A Sequim High School assistant girls basketball coach was sentenced in Clallam County Superior Court for 'Communication with a minor for immoral purposes,' a Class C felony. 29-year old Jerry Jeff Pedersen pled guilty to the charges after the Sequim Police Department conducted an investigation into allegations that Pedersen conducted an electronic sexual relationship with a 15-year old girl he coached at Sequim High School.
