The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present FINAL SHOW of our 74th SEASON of PLAYS Oscar Wildes timeless comedy of Love, Life and All of its Confusions THE IMPORTANCE of BEING EARNEST. The Play will be performed on Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Performances will be June 14th July 14th,with Special Showings at 8:00pm onThursday, June 20th (Pay What You Can Night) and 8:00pm on Thursday, June 27th (Pay What You Can Actors Benefit).Our Ticket Prices are $24.00 (General Admission), $21.00 (Senior/Military)and $18.00 (Students/Educators). ABOUT THE SHOW: In THE IMPORTANCE of BEING EARNEST, dashing men-about-town John Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff pursue fair ladies Gwendolen Fairfax and Cecily Cardew. Matters are complicated by the imaginary characters invented by both men to cover their on-the-sly activitiesnot to mention the disapproval of Gwendolens mother, the formidable Lady Bracknell.
