The original idea of genius refers to the natural spirit and inner qualities of a person; this includes their god-given talents as well as the way they are aimed at life. In that sense, everyone has a genius nature and something essential to give to the world. However, when neglected or rejected our natural genius can incite our worst inner demons.

First surfacing during youth, the inner genius tries to become known throughout one\'s life. Genius calls to us at critical junctures, when change is required and in moments of awakening. Whether younger or older our job is to answer the call. For, enduring happiness can be found more in satisfying one\'s inner spirit than in simply finding fame or acquiring a fortune.
