Admiral Neighborhood 4th of July Kids Parade
Admiral Neighborhood
The parade starts at the intersection of 44th & Sunset. The parade is about a half-mile walk through the neighborhood, crossing California Ave SW, and ending at Hamilton Viewpoint Park. Kids are encouraged to dress up and decorate strollers, scooters, wagons, and bikes. We will have fun old fashioned games at Hamilton Park (3-legged race, wheelbarrow races, and gunnysack races).

Avast, the Seattle Seafair Pirates will sail in from the seven seas and the scallywags be stormin Alki Beach in West Seattle to kick off the 64th Seafair. Dont be gettin in their way!

There will be hot dogs, pop, juice, water, chips, and Sno-Kones available for purchase.

American Legion Grand Parade

The West Seattle Grand Parade has been hosted by the West Seattle American Legion Post 160 since 1935 and is one of the oldest and most beloved community events in the Seattle area. The West Seattle Grand Parade includes participants from the Hi-Yu royalty and celebrates the diverse community and participants of the greater Seattle area. It is a proud member of the Seafair family of events and includes all of the pirates, clowns, marching bands, drill teams, floats, pagentry and excitement that leads up to the Seafair Torchlight Parade the following weekend.
